Social Media Courses

I offer a variety of social media courses from a 1 hour basic intro to a more intensive 4 day course. In the intro course I cover the very basics of what social media is about whereas the longer courses give more detail on each social network and how to use them.

Any of these can be taken at any time. No course is a prerequisite to another.

It’s hard to cover more than the very basics in a 1 hour course. However, you will learn about the four major social networks and what they each have to offer.

By the end of this course you will be able too….

Name the four major social networks and how they each differ
Identify the strengths and primary uses are for each of the four major social networks
Set up a profile on each social network
Use the basic features of each social network

In this half day course on social media you will learn everything from the basic course and more. You’ll be introduced to some of the more advanced features of each network and

By the end of this course you will be able too…

Perform all the objectives from the Intro course listed above
Understand more details on the features of each social network
Use some of the advanced features of each
Take advantage of the privacy features of each network
Access the four major social networks from a mobile device

In this course you will learn about the major social networks in more detail as well as learn of some other social media platforms.

By the end of this course you will be able too…

Perform all the objectives from the Basic course listed above
Use some 3rd party apps to access and post information to the major social networks
Identify and use some of the social networks beyond the major four
Understand the importance of blogging and how to set one up
Use tools for reputation monitoring and social media influence scores
Identify and use some other tools for social media

In this intense four day course you will learn about the four major social networks in detail as well as learn about other social networks and how to use them.

Perform all of the objectives from Social Media Essentials listed above
Develop a more in depth understanding of social networks
Grow your followers or fans
Use social media to get the most out of events, conferences and trade shows
Determine the best time and way to post to social networks
Use various tools to provide analysis of your social media efforts
Use tools to save time and be more productive in your social media efforts.
